Faye was a student in New Zealand at both the University of Christchurch and the University of Auckland where she graduated as bachelor of Science.

In 2003 she went back to her study at Bath Spa University College in the UK. She completed her Master of Arts there in 2004 in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology. This department has since moved to Lampeter University in Wales.

Faye continues to study and research astrology and is currently doing research on Ceres, the newly designated dwarf planet.

She is also planning to start PhD research in the future.
